Service Description

Join us for the full beekeeper experience. The tour starts in the Bee Shed with a quick introduction to the importance of Bees and other pollinators to our food chain.  Then we light the smoker and put on veils and gloves and open a Hive where you'll get up close and personal with a working bees. We will search for the Queen, watch the workers do their Waggle Dance and watch the Drones and learn of each of their roles.  Honeybees are generally gentle who keep the noses in their own buzziness, so we encourage you to get close and even grab a selfie with the Queen bee herself!  When will you get that close to royalty again?

Cancellation Policy

At Greenfield Hives & Honey, we ask all guests to respect both the bees and the apiary environment by following safe and calm behaviour at all times. Honeybees are sensitive to movement, noise, and strong scents, so participants are expected to move slowly, speak quietly, and carefully follow all instructions provided by the beekeeper. For the safety of both guests and bees, running, swatting, sudden movements, or handling equipment without guidance is not permitted. Guests should remain with the group at all times and avoid touching hives or bees unless invited to do so. The use of strongly scented products (such as perfumes, colognes, or heavily fragranced lotions) is discouraged prior to attending the tour. Failure to follow these guidelines may result in the tour being paused or ended early for safety reasons. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us create a calm, respectful, and enjoyable experience within the apiary.
