Quantity

Wear loose-fitting long pants, long sleeved shirt/sweater.

Long socks for tucking pants into is recommended, as the fields will have TICKS.

Boots are REQUIRED, we will be walking in fields which could be wet or muddy.

Do not wear anything scented.

WE WILL PROVIDE a hat and head veil and beekeeping gloves.

All clothing should be light in colour, NO BLACK or DARK BROWN.

It gets HOT in the summer sun, so please bring yourself a water bottle.

NOTE: There is access to washrooms on site.
All participants are required to sign a waivers, no exceptions!

• Price is a flat rate of $80 for a maximum of two people. Payment can be made by Cash, Credit, Debit or Etransfer on site.

• Hive Tours are weather-dependent. If there is rain in the forecast or the temperatures are too high, or too low, we will contact you to reschedule or cancel.

• There are limited number of spaces available so it is recommened to Book ahead. No walk up tours will be accepted.
You should be aware that Honey Bee stings are an associated risk of attending a tour of the Greenfield Hives & Honey bee yards and hives. GFHH staff manages both bees and the tour in a way that minimizes the risk of being stung, however, that is no guarantee.

You will agree and acknowledge that you are responsible to notify GFHH staff of a known allergy to honeybee stings PRIOR to antending a Tour.

You agree and acknowledge that anyone with or without an allergy to honeybee stings or a fear of bees can participate in the tour, but should limit their participation to their own comfort and for their own safety.

Waivers will be provided and are required to be signed.

If you know, or suspect and allergy to bee stings, it is recommended that YOU DO NOT PARTICIPATE in the TOUR.
You may cancel your tour at any time. We ask you to please be considerate and provide us as much notice as you can. No booked tours can be swapped/switched out. You may rescehule at a later date.

Greenfield Hives and Honey reserves the right to immediately cancel any Tour due to behviour related issues,or any abuse of staff, the bees or the equipment.

Greenfield Reserves the right to cancel any or all appointments due to weather, Guide illness, or other situations. Notice will be provided where it can and tours will be rescheduled.
